Overview
Mutations in Blox Fruits are unique variations of existing fruits that not only change the user's appearance but also modify their abilities. Unlike skins, mutations provide players with different powers, making them a sought-after addition for any fruit enthusiast.
Obtaining these mutations involves participating in special events, trading, or purchasing event bundles. Players can experience a whole new dimension of gameplay as they explore the abilities these mutations offer, separate from their base fruit counterparts.
Mutations do not share Mastery with their original fruit forms!
How It Works
Mutations are alternate versions of existing Blox Fruits, providing new looks and abilities. They can be equipped by selecting them in the Inventory's Wardrobe section once the base fruit is equipped.
Ways to Obtain Mutations
Players can acquire mutations through event bundles in the Shop, finding them under trees during specific events, or trading them as special items.
Participating in event-specific tasks, like the Halloween Gacha, also offers a chance to obtain exclusive mutations.
Switching Between Mutations and Base Fruits
Initially, when a mutation is consumed, players can only use the mutation and not switch to its base version. Once the player owns the permanent version of the base fruit, they can freely switch between the mutation and the original fruit.
List of Available Mutations
Some of the notable mutations include Werewolf from Tiger, Empyrean from Kitsune, and Fiend from Yeti. Each has its unique method of acquisition and availability period tied to specific events.
Tips
- Participate in events to get a chance at exclusive mutations.
- Remember that mutations require separate Mastery from their base fruits.
- Ensure you own the permanent version of a fruit to switch freely with its mutation.
