To make the island appear, navigate through the seas at Sea Danger Level 6. While a Volcanic Magnet is not mandatory, it significantly boosts the spawning probability.
Once the island spawns, players can undertake the Volcano Event, which involves protecting a relic from Lava Golems and managing volcanic pressures.
The Prehistoric Island is the only place to find the Fossil Expert, who crafts unique accessories!
